| SHELTER-AFRIQUE is to co-finance with Lubowa Apartments Limited, the construction of twenty-four (24) apartment units and related infrastructure services in the Lubowa neighbourhood of Kampala. Total project cost is estimated at US$1,634,000 (Ushs. 2,831,722,797) out of which SHELTER-AFRIQUE has been requested to advance a loan of US$ 800,000 (Ushs. 1,386,400,000) or about 49% of project cost. The developer will contribute the remaining US$ 834,000 or 51% of project cost. Project implementation is scheduled to commence in July 2007. |
